CH Pleasent-Grove SSP WallopCH Pleasant-Grove SSP Wallop

Wallop was my very first doe to finish her championship, finishing out a year and a half after I bought her from McQuitty Farms.  Her fantastic power, body capacity, high rear udder, and smooth topline made her an eyecatcher.  Although she passed away after a miscarriage as an 8 1/2 year old in 2009, her legacy will live on in her offspring.  Her daughters Caprine Classics Joyce and Caprine Classics Ms. Solitaire are still in my herd.

Okay, so I sold out of Alpines in 2009, but I couldn’t help but feature my all-time favorite darling showmanship doe, Erin.  Not only was she my first Alpine to finish her permanent championship, she was also my first doe to earn her milking star.  When I saw her as a jr. kid, I knew I had to have her.  And, although she wasn’t for sale, I left that show in Mississippi with one more goat than I had brought.  I think the picture pretty much tells all about her, with her gorgeous udder, striking angularity, lovely dairy character, strong feet and legs, and the smoothness she blends it all together with.  Congratulations to the breeder who bought her, and I will eventually tell who, but for now it’s a secret!
